I am an IBioIC student based at the University of Strathclyde under the supervision of Dr. Paul Mulheran and Dr. Valerie Ferro as well as collaborating with Dr. Mark Williams from Glasgow Caledonian University and The Antibody Company.

My Master’s project on tumour microenvironment research led me to taking on a project at the University of Strathclyde on Cancer Immunotherapy drug development, a topic which I have been very passionate about for many years. Essentially, my project aims to model, simulate, engineer and test on human samples highly specific antibodies to bind to cancer cells triggering an immunogenic response from the body’s immune system. This project will give me the necessary knowledge and training to become a well-rounded cancer immunotherapiest that will understand all the steps required in the drug development process.
